Pilgrims for the First Time

Yesterday was one of my favorite days. Eli and I were pilgrims for the first time and made our way to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. We didn’t really know what to expect. We planned on visiting the Shrine for only a few hours, but ended up staying for six. We walked the grounds, attended mass, ate at their cafe, took a tour, learned about new saints, and prayed. It was peaceful and completely renewing. If you have a chance to visit, I would highly recommend it. We’ve already made plans to go back in the future.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!

Saint Juan Diego, pray for us!
